A Clearer Teaching Workspace

Less clutter, easier access to standards and learner evidence, focused workspace tabs, and improvements to saved resources, audio, presentations, and interrupted generation.

This update makes everyday teaching work easier to find and follow. Focused tabs, compact summaries, and detail drawers give your current task more room while keeping the supporting information close at hand.

A calmer planner and easier standards lookup

  • Lesson cards show a compact standards count instead of long lists of internal identifiers. Hover, focus, or select the count to see the standards, then open one for its full details.
  • Find curriculum standards by grade, subject, framework, or search. Browse manageable groups and open the full statement, source, and connected planning information without leaving the list.
  • Standards Library opens with finding standards first, with framework management in a separate view.
  • Shorter introductions, clearer labels, and compact teaching-context summaries bring the main task closer to the top of the screen.

More room for planning and creation

  • Assessment Builder separates Questions, Learner preview, and Review & approve. Saving remains easy to reach, and optional question settings expand when needed.
  • Substitute Continuity separates Plan, Preview, and Access. Preview the substitute’s materials before approving them or creating an access link.
  • Career Exploration separates Plan, Resources, and Saved preview. Inspect a resource’s source and details while keeping unfinished reflections in place.
  • Cross-Curricular Studio separates the project overview, subject contributions, and shared rubric.
  • Collapsible libraries in assessment, substitute, and writing-feedback workspaces make more room for editing, especially on smaller screens.

Review learner work without losing your place

  • Student Spaces opens individual responses and guidance transcripts in detail drawers. ClassLattice Live lets you inspect the learner’s actual response before continuing into Student Spaces for review.
  • Guided Learning Spaces separates Live activity, Guidance & evidence, and Setup, while keeping launch, pause, resume, and safety attention easy to reach.
  • Standards Gradebook gives the learner ledger more room and opens evidence and judgment details alongside it.
  • Learner Continuity groups overview, supports, evidence, and history into focused views. Annual Review Workspace adds source and evidence inspection without discarding an unfinished staff note.
  • Paper Evidence separates Capture, Needs review, and History. Selected photos and unfinished transcription edits stay in place when switching views.
  • Formative Margin Feedback keeps writing and feedback together, with the approved rubric available in a reference drawer. Learner preview and release remain explicit teacher actions.

Find and reuse teaching materials

  • Artifact Studio adds searchable library organization and filters to help you find saved teaching resources. Deleted resources can be restored from trash for 14 days; archive materials you want to keep longer.
  • Exchange offers clearer resource cards and labels, with previews and source history available without leaving your results.
  • Teaching requests can suggest a suitable studio while preserving your choice to continue in the current one.
  • More creation workflows let you begin with a teaching goal and class context before selecting standards. Add alignment when it is useful; missing alignment is not replaced with an invented standard or mastery judgment.

Better audio, presentations, and recovery

  • Preview supported narration and podcast scripts with playback, pause, speed, and stop controls. Saved recordings support playback, seeking, and MP3 download; transcript downloads are labeled separately.
  • Presentations use grade-appropriate starting designs, with editable themes and layouts. PowerPoint export compatibility is improved, including decks with speaker notes.
  • Media Studio can rediscover saved results and reconnect to work still in progress after a reload or interrupted connection. A temporary progress-check failure no longer has to mean starting the request again.
  • Assessment generation preserves recoverable draft output when a later processing step fails, helping teachers return to work that was already created.

Your work and decisions stay yours

Switching the updated tabs or closing detail drawers keeps in-progress edits in place within the workspace. Keyboard navigation, focus return, and phone layouts have also been improved. Save your work before leaving the page.

The layout changes preserve existing records, sources, and history. Reviewing evidence, approving materials, sharing with learners, and releasing feedback still use the existing teacher controls.
