Independent educators can create a portable teaching workspace, maintain the learner roster they are authorized to manage, and connect plans, materials, activities, evidence, and family-facing records without an institution tenant owning their work.

  1. Create the educator home and classrooms

    Set up the portable personal workspace, add learner profiles, and assign them to one or more educator-owned classrooms with explicit local roster authority.

  2. Plan and prepare materials

    Use standards, courses, the Week and Day Planner, and Artifact Studio to build editable lessons, documents, printables, activities, and assessments.

  3. Teach and collect reviewable work

    Open the day from the Classroom Dashboard, use whiteboard or Student Spaces where useful, and retain learner responses or teacher-entered evidence.

  4. Carry learning forward

    Review evidence in the standards view, plan the next session, and publish only the approved Learning Passport or family context the educator chooses to share.
