Templates are editable starting structures, not sealed content

ClassLattice templates reduce setup work while preserving teacher ownership. A selected structure becomes an editable artifact in the authorized Vault and can carry standards, sources, revisions, output formats, and later classroom evidence.

  1. Choose the structure for the job

    Start with a lesson, assessment, rubric, CER or thinking routine, classroom display, spreadsheet, game, visual, or blank artifact rather than forcing every task through one document shape.

  2. Add current instructional context

    Attach the intended course, standard, source, learning target, and destination so the template becomes part of the real workflow rather than an isolated download.

  3. Edit and review the result

    Revise the content and layout, inspect any AI-assisted changes, preserve the source revision, and choose the supported format needed for classroom or external use.

  4. Reuse without losing history

    Save the artifact in the Vault, create a connected derivative when adapting it, and continue into planning, Student Spaces, assessment, display, or Exchange without overwriting the original.
