Stage identity, launch, and roster changes for governed review

ClassLattice supports governed LTI launch inspection and binding plus staged OneRoster import, record review, and explicit application.

What stays connected

  • Inspect and claim authorized LTI launches
  • Bind launches to the intended ClassLattice course
  • Stage OneRoster records before changing authority data
  • Review, decide, apply, and retain import outcomes

Stage identity and roster changes before granting authority

LTI and OneRoster workflows are administration boundaries, not convenience imports. ClassLattice inspects launches, claims local relationships, stages roster records, and requires review before external data changes local course or membership authority.

  1. Inspect the external launch

Validate the supported LTI launch through the configured platform, preserve its external identifiers, and show what local relationship—if any—has already been claimed.

  2. Bind the intended local course

An authorized administrator reviews the launch and binds it to the correct ClassLattice course rather than granting access from an unverified title or email match.

  3. Stage OneRoster records

Import supported organizations, sessions, courses, classes, users, and enrollments into a reviewable staging area with per-record issues and proposed mappings.

  4. Review, apply, and retain outcomes

Decide which staged records should change local authority data, apply them explicitly, and preserve the import status, reviewer decisions, failures, and retry path.
